Perth Glory owner Tony Sage says he is considering his future with the club after it crashed to its sixth loss in eight matches.
He told the ABC that he was "angry and upset" after being abused by fans during the Glory's home loss to Melbourne Heart on Saturday night.
Mr Sage confirmed he is seeking legal advice about handing the franchise licence back to Football Federation Australia.
The Perth mining entrepreneur says he will reflect during the week to decide if he will continue with the club.
He says he does not know if he can quit, having signed an agreement in 2007 to run the Glory for five years.
