Canberra United remain on top of the W-League standings following a 0-0 draw with Sydney FC at Deakin Football Stadium.
Neither side was able to find the back of the net, even though Canberra enjoyed a numerical advantage late in the second half when Sydney lost Australia international Servet Uzunlar to a second yellow card.
The results leaves Canberra (17) with a three-point buffer over Sydney (14) following the completion of round eight.
In other matches, Brisbane Roar downed Adelaide United 2-0 at Stockland Park, while Melbourne Victory thrashed the Glory 5-0 at in Perth.
