Perth Glory have signed two-time golden boot winner Shane Smeltz for the next three A-League seasons.
Glory owner Tony Sage claims Robbie Fowler has also agreed to play on with the club for another year.
Smeltz, who played with Gold Coast United last season and also scored a goal for New Zealand in the 2010 World Cup, joins Travis Dodd, Dean Heffernan, Danny Vukovic and Evan Berger as new signings at the Glory.
Smeltz will become the Glory's international marquee player, while Fowler will be classed as a normal player under the salary cap.
